The Barcelona Fringe starts today!

This week the team have been preparing for the first ever Barcelona Fringe Festival, which starts November 1st and runs until November 10th. This has meant more painting, both in the physical sense and digital, with our new logo and branding continuing to move forward. Keep your eyes peeled for more of these changes with our upcoming posts on social media. The physical painting has been more for the ceiling but the work doesn’t stop there! New staging platforms are on the way, allowing us to raise the audience or the stage or both!

Last Friday saw the premiere of What Was That? - A Musical!? Our own Brielle Jobe, along with Michael Parry and Brett Taylor, improvised a musical. Creating a unique experience for the audience as they witnessed a never seen before show that’ll never be seen again. They will return to our stage on Thursday November 7th. Follow them on Instagram to be kept up to date with their upcoming performances - What Was That? - A Musical!?

Tuesday saw another fantastic night of stand up comedy from The Ministry of Propaganda with the always hilarious Hannah Becker headlining and a surprise performance from the hugely talented Luke Messina! The other comedians were Carlos Toca, Emily Briggs, Marco Morgante, Victor Pop, Aidan O'Reilly and Camila Sten. Alex Jacob’s Ministry of Propaganda returns on November 12th.

Wednesday our resident improv team, Watch This Space, transformed our stage into a lounge fit for a King in their living room style show. A more chilled out format making a welcoming atmosphere for returning guests and new ones. Next week Watch This Space will be joining up with TBC Improv, creating an epic team of performers for a special show and jam.

The Barcelona Fringe Festival will bring us our busiest week yet! Tickets are selling fast for all of our shows so be sure to grab yours now.
