This week has been our busiest week yet at The BCN Studio...& it's far from over just yet!
Last weekend saw us hosting a fundraising event for homeless charity, Esperança. The Vocal Core Choir bought their musical talent to our stage & raised more than 2,000€ to help homeless people in Barcelona.
Monday saw things heating up on stage with the comedy play Sex Therapy. A hilarious tale of how a housewife transforms her life after meeting a sexologist. We had a wonderful supportive audience, whom we hope to see again soon.
Tuesday was the return of Teatro Playback with their improv show Historias de Celebración in which real stories from the audience are used to inspire the scenes. Teatro Playback will return every month from February 25th.
Wednesday is always Improv night & now with a fun workshop to warm up with before the show & made even better with free pizza! Blanca hosted the workshop which saw the participants working on long form improv skills. Watch This Space Improv will return weekly on Wednesdays from January 8th.
On Thursday romantic comedy play Maybe It's You returned, starring Tricia Audette, Iain Anderson & our very own Adrian. A collection of comedic stories about all kinds of relationship, from childhood crushes, blind lovers & office romances. Thanks you everyone who came out to watch the show.
Tonight (Friday) is going to be fabulously festive with Merry Baubles. The incredibly talented Nikol Kollars hosting a night of music & Christmas magic with presents, festive nibbles & mulled wine!
